Two men sought in theft of vehicles from car lot

A pair of vehicles were stolen from the Lakes Auto Sales lot in Waterford Township on Monday, Feb. 6.

Waterford Township police were called to the scene in the 4600 block of Elizabeth Lake Road on Tuesday, Feb. 7. According to police reports, the business owner stated two vehicles were stolen sometime during the overnight hours. The vehicles are described as a silver 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix and a red 2001 Dodge Durango.

Neither vehicle had a license plate.

The business owner told police that two men came in together the day before and asked to look at the vehicles. They were described as a black man in his 30s, about 6-feet tall and approximately 260 pounds; and a black man in his 50s, about 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighing approximately 250 pounds.
