Perpetrator flees home after woman returns

Larcenies at businesses prompt Wixom probe

Wixom police are investigating a trio of larcenies that occurred at businesses around the city over the last few weeks. Two incidents occurred on Friday, Nov. 18. Police were dispatched to Gen Power, located at 29905 Anthony, where a commercial generator and trailer were stolen. The generator was valued at $45,000. Non-profit honors Wixom for its work at downtown area

Wixom’s Village Center Area (above), which was once underdeveloped and blighted, has in past years been transformed into a family-oriented downtown complete with places for shopping and dining. Wixom parks reap dividends from Scout’s project

Wixom residents and visitors will find new trail map holders and benches throughout city parks thanks to the efforts of 17-year-old Jordan McMahan, who spearheaded the improvements as part of his Eagle Leadership Service Project. No suspects in theft of copper from business

Wixom police are investigating a breaking and entering incident during which several copper items were stolen from a vacant building at 29250 S. Wixom Road. The incident occurred sometime over the last two weeks.
