Passion, no focus
From Robert Katz, West Bloomfield Township: The issues are familiar: Greedy bankers, unemployment, college debt, lopsided income distribution, political gridlock, etc. Currently there is passion without focus at the occupations. To get things done, let’s do what the Tea Party did: Emphasize our numbers and hold the re-elections of our politicians hostage to our votes. Politicians respond to fear. Scare them with passion, our numbers and our intention to vote.

Man allegedly assaults wife during altercation
West Bloomfield Township police arrested a 50-year-old male resident last week for domestic assault after he allegedly assaulted his wife. W. Bloomfield nets “Dig Pink” tourney crown in Romulus
West Bloomfield traveled to Romulus High School on Saturday, Oct. 22 for the “Dig Pink” Volleyball Tournament and came away with the championship. W. Bloomfield will cast votes on two police, fire levies

Woman sentenced for firing gun at officer

Guns, $30K stolen from West Bloomfield home
West Bloomfield Township police officers responded to a report of a home invasion at a residence on Walnut Lake Road on Thursday, Sept. 29. WBS fund balance back in the black, auditing firm says
The West Bloomfield Schools Board of Education approved an audit report by Plante & Moran for the 2010-11 school year, which was presented at the Monday, Sept. 26 school board meeting. According to the report, the district’s general fund balance, which was previously in a deficit, increased by about $2.3 million to its balance of $551,562 as of June 30. Initial design and schedule released for trail extension

WBS enters into pact for new Web learning program
