The Waterford Schools Board of Education received the district’s annual audit report from Yeo & Yeo for the 2010-11 school year at its board meeting on Oct. 20. The Waterford Township Police Department is one of four recipients in Oakland County of a Michigan Automobile Theft Prevention Authority (ATPA) grant designed to reduce the number of stolen vehicles. The Kingsley-Montgomery Elementary School playground in the Waterford School District was the recipient of an upgrade thanks to 45 volunteers who came out to assemble and install new equipment.
