Walled Lake house fire still under investigation

A house fire was extinguished quickly on Tuesday, Nov. 29 thanks to the efforts of first responders from Walled Lake and Commerce Township. Central band takes the crown in state competition

The 161-member Walled Lake Central High School Marching Band (above), under the direction of David Rogers and assistant director Nick Pourcho, notched its second straight Flight I state championship at Ford Field in Detroit during the Michigan Competing Band Association State Championship. “I am so proud of the students, my teaching staff, and the parent volunteers. Walled Lake police are looking for a Howell man who allegedly stabbed a Bayside Sports Grille bouncer and fled the scene on Friday, Oct. 29.
