Deputies seek men in Subway armed robbery
Two male suspects are being sought after robbing a Commerce Township fast food restaurant and making off with $300 in cash. Service, savings at crux of four-day week in township

HVEA ratifies pact that includes shifts in benefits, wages
The Huron Valley Education Association (HVEA) membership ratified a four-year labor agreement with the Huron Valley School District (HVS), according to a Monday, May 23 announcement. Fire department still on the hunt for paid-on-call help
The Commerce Township Fire Department is still looking for additional paid-on-call firefighters and will be accepting applications through the end of May. Warriors, Knights square off, split doubleheader
Walled Lake Northern and Walled Lake Western met on the diamond on Tuesday, May 17 and split a doubleheader. Commerce hopes new fire truck will arrive by the fall
The Commerce Township Fire Department received the green light from the Board of Trustees on Tuesday, May 10 to accept a bid from Sutthun Corporation to replace the department’s current aerial ladder truck. Relay for Life set to raise money for cancer research
The Lakes Area Relay For Life event is slated for this weekend at James R. Geisler Middle School, located at 46720 Pontiac Trail in Commerce Township. By doubling their efforts, the Wolverine Lake and Commerce Township parks and recreation committees are working to enrich both communities with more activities and enhanced park facilities.
