Police: Ex-beau keyed two White Lake vehicles

White Lake Township police officers have apprehended a suspect allegedly responsible for keying two vehicles in the 100 block of Mill Street off of Elizabeth Lake Road.

The malicious destruction of property incident took place a little after midnight on Tuesday, Oct. 4.

According to a White Lake Police Department report, the complainant’s car, as well as her boyfriend’s vehicle, were keyed. The complainant’s purse had also been stolen.

The complainant told police believed the person responsible for the damage was her ex-boyfriend, who the police later discovered had allegedly used his lunch hour to commit the vandalism. He was also reportedly discovered to be in possession of his ex-girlfriend’s purse.
