No suspects in theft of copper from business

Wixom police are investigating a breaking and entering incident during which several copper items were stolen from a vacant building at 29250 S. Wixom Road.

The incident occurred sometime over the last two weeks. An unknown person or persons entered the shuttered Holloway Construction building and stole copper wiring from fuse panels, copper lead from a welding machine, and copper piping.

It has been determined that the suspect(s) used ladders inside the building to access the copper piping.

There were no signs of forced entry and there was no active alarm system.
