Jeep stolen from hotel parking lot on Feb. 5

Wixom police are investigating the theft of a vehicle that occurred at the Comfort Suites located in the 28000 block of S. Wixom Road, on Sunday, Feb. 5.

The owner of the stolen 1999 black Jeep apparently had loaned the car to his friends, who used it to go to Taco Bell. The group returned the vehicle to the east end of the lot sometime between 12:30 and 1 a.m.

The vehicle was apparently stolen some time after it was returned to the parking lot.
