Wolverine Lake intersection signs may be removed

Wolverine Lake is in the process of swapping out road traffic signage for retro-reflective signs within the village to comply with a Federal Highway Administration (FHA) mandate. Roughly $9,000 will be used from Commerce Township Parks and Recreation funds to make a variety of repairs at the Byers Farmhouse, including fixing severe peeling and rotting siding, as well as non-functional windows at the building situated on the 2.5 acres of Byers Farm land. The Commerce Township Board of Trustees approved funds for repairs to be made at the Byers Farmhouse at a Tuesday, April 10 meeting.
