The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a vehicle fire that spread to an auto parts business in Highland Township.
According to a Sheriff’s Department news release, Highland Fire Chief Richard Cole asked that a fire investigator come to the scene on the 3300 block of W. Highland Road around 2:20 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6.
The vehicle had been parked in the parking lot of the auto parts store, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

Sure it wasn’t in the lot of Kurt’s Auto Repair on M59 just west of Duck Lake Road? Lord knows those guys suck so bad that we wouldn’t trust them working on a kids 10 speed bike let alone another one of our vehicles.
