Man who allegedly shoved wife arrested

A 50-year-old West Bloomfield Township man was arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife on Sunday, Dec. 2.

The incident took place at a residence on the 6000 block of West Dartmoor when the couple were arguing.

According to a West Bloomfield Police Department report, the wife, 48, said that she would leave the house and her husband opened the garage door for her. He then allegedly forcefully pushed her into the garage and she tripped and fell off a step and struck her face on the side of a cabinet.

The man was arrested by West Bloomfield police and charged with domestic assault.
