Holiday Art & Craft Show to benefit Mott's bands

Waterford Mott High School will be hosting its Holiday Art & Craft Show on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Admission for adults is $2 while children age 12 and younger are admitted free.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Waterford Mott Band Boosters.

The show is being presented by Keepsake Collection Art and Craft Shows, which are organized by Bonnie Murin and Leslie Needham.

“We’ll have about 65 exhibitors at the show and items will range from pet treats, stained glass, children’s clothing, hand-made soap and wind chimes,” Needham said.

“The Mott students will also have a bake sale and used book sale and lunch will also be served by Mott students as a fund-raiser.”

Needham added that the show has been visiting Mott for about seven years and that it serves as a nice fund-raiser for the band students.

Keepsake Collection puts on art and craft shows across the state, including in Clarkston, Saginaw, and Frankenmuth. Keepsake also recently held a show at Huron Valley Milford High School on Saturday, Nov. 3.
