Attempted break-in probed in township

 West Bloomfield Township police are investigating an alleged attempted break-in at the Hiller Food-Wine Basket at Hiller and Greer roads.

The alleged incident took place on Monday, Oct. 15 at 1:50 a.m., when police were called to an alarm at Hiller.

Officers found a pane of glass on the front of the store that had two holes smashed in it, apparently caused by a hatchet left at the store.

No entry was gained into the store.
