Lakers still winless in Red Division after 50-28 defeat

 West Bloomfield (1-6, 0-6 in the Oakland Activities Association Red Division) suffered its sixth straight defeat in a 50-28 loss to Rochester Hills Stoney Creek (4-3, 3-3) on the road on Friday, Oct. 5.

The Lakers scored first on a 45-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown in the first quarter, but then gave up five straight touchdowns.

Joe Cox and Sean Scullen combined for 340 yards rushing and five touchdowns for Stoney Creek.

The Lakers will return home to face Pontiac (1-6, 1-5 in the OAA Red) on Friday, Oct. 12.
