Editorials not helpful

Please don’t publish your recommendations for tax votes again. Just print, “We love all taxes — renewals and increases.” I didn’t find your subjective analysis of feel-good statements helpful at all.

For example, White Lake Township fire millages: One renewal and two increases. You recommended we vote yes for all three. However, you failed to conduct due diligence by not reporting the Fire (Department) fund balance of $6 million while annual expenses are only $2 million.

In the future, present facts and details and don’t mislead your readers. Keep your opinions to the last page. Just state, “We like all taxes on you all.”
