Wixom police are investigating a stolen vehicle report and a pair of stolen vehicle attempts that occurred last month.
On Saturday, July 28, a resident of the 31000 block of Lakeview reported his 2011 black Suzuki motorcycle was stolen. He told police he parked the motorcycle at 2:30 p.m. and reported that it was missing by 9 p.m.
Police have no suspects or witnesses to the crime.
Two of the recent attempt vehicle thefts, which took place at the Meadowood Apartments, appear to be similar in nature. Both occurred on July 17.
One victim, who resides in the 27000 block of Pinewood, reported to police that a person attempted to steal his 2007 Jeep by prying off the ignition switch.
Surveillance cameras are located in the parking lot where the vehicle was parked. The victim will be reviewing the surveillance tapes and stated he would contact police with any information revealed.
The second victim resides in the 27080 block of Meadowood and stated that an unknown person attempted to steal his 2007 Jeep Liberty, as well. The damage to the vehicle is similar as in the first attempted theft.
Both cases have been turned over to detectives for investigation.
