'Children of Eden' performances to start next Thursday

The West Bloomfield High School Theatre Arts program will be putting on its spring production of the musical “Children of Eden” beginning on Thursday, April 26 in the West Bloomfield High School Auditorium.

The musical will be performed beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 26; Friday, April 27; and Saturday, April 28.

According to the school’s theatre arts website, “Children of Eden” is based on the Book of Genesis and is “a frank, heartfelt and often humorous examination of the age-old conflict between parents and children.”

The musical consists of two acts, with the first act telling the story of Adam and Eve and Cain and Abel, while the second act focuses on Noah and the flood.

The role of Father will be played by Brian Baylor while Eve will be played by Megan Jolliffe. Adam will be portrayed by Daniel Feenstra.

Noah will be portrayed by Jonathan Israilov, while Yonah will be played by Gabriel Kadian.

Josie Kirsch will play Mama Noah, Nick Kisse will play Cain, and Zach Levine will play Abel.

Jason Pauli will portray Shem, while Ari Zucker will play Ham. Hailey Rozenberg will play Aysha and Karin Gumbinner will play Aphra.
