TV, video games stolen from Wixom apartment

A pair of Village Apartment residents in Wixom were victimized when their unit in the 30700 block of Beechwood was burglarized on Wednesday, Sept. 14.

One of the roommates arrived home to find the apartment ransacked and his 50-inch high-definition television missing, along with a video game set.

His roommate’s bedroom was also disturbed, as evidenced by clothes strewn on the floor. After itemizing a list of missing belongings, she told police her rent money and 15 shirts were missing; however, a laptop and another television were not stolen.

Two neighbors reported unusual circumstances around the time of the incident. One heard a male’s voice in the apartment and another neighbor observed a turquoise, late 1990s Ford Escort parked in the roadway on the northeast side of the building.

There were no signs of forced entry.

There are no suspects in the case at this time.
