From Alonzo Howard, Walled Lake:
Florida took a huge step backwards in justice for infant murder victims today with the acquittal of Casey Anthony in the death of her daughter Caylee.
I think it would be wrong for the world to attempt to lambast the jury for their decision, because I truly think they gave the verdict they deemed necessary for the evidence they were presented. What concerns me is what their feelings will be once they see how Casey reacted to the photo evidence when they weren’t in the room.
There is no doubt, given the reactions of this mother, pre- and post-verdict, she had a hand in what happened to her daughter. She strikes me as a psychopath, so I think it will not affect her in the least that Caylee is no longer here. But I fear that once these jurors see how she faked reactions in their presence, we may see a few of them become unable to accept the liberation they have given Casey Anthony. Rest in peace Caylee. It’s a shame it had to end this way.

Actually….. Think this case well as the OJ Simpson trial were 2 of the best things that could of ever happened, as 90% of the general public has NO CLUE as to just how flawed our juducual system is and just how LAZY cops and prosecutors really and truly are.
Unlike all the hollywood drama that shows police, FBI and prosecutors being dedicatred, hardworking and 100% honest individuals, all of them would of taken the time to do their jobs as they are trained and suposed to, and would of put in the work required to gather “evidence” and present a case that they could actually win based on FACT, and not the batch of lies, BS and fabrications that typically occur in nearly 90% of todays criminal court cases.
FACT……….. Nearly 95% of criminal cases never make it to trial and are settled through plea / cobb agreements where defendants are given sweet deals to keep them from ever going to trial because if they didn’t, our court systems, police and prosecutors would never get anything done.
Fact of the matter is that this lady did NOT intentionally kill / murder her child, but was indeed responsible for her accidental death and did a sloppy job of covering it up. Instead of the police and prosecutors doing their jobs correctly and placing this lady under intense surveillance until they knew without a shadow of a doubt what happened, they did what they typically do…. “Fast tracked” the investigation and charged this lady through the teeth in hopes of her being scared beyond belief and confessing or taking a plea agreement. Instead other than the mother, her child and the 1 or 2 others that were involved in helping her cover it up, we instead ended up with yet another prime example of just how broken our judicial system is and a defendant that did the right thing by “Lawyering Up” and making certain she was not charged with a crime that she did not commit.
That is unless any of you out there have any real world “facts” or are privy to some sort of information that the rest of us that investigated the case or were on the jury have to offer…… “Justice” was served in this case.
