A Wixom woman was arrested for allegedly brandishing a knife and threatening the life of her roommate’s friend on Sunday, June 26 in the 30000 block of Tamarack in the Golden Gate Apartments.
Police were dispatched once the victim contacted them. She stated she was visiting her friend who is in a lesbian relationship. When the victim entered the apartment, the friend’s girlfriend allegedly charged the victim waving a knife in her face and threatening to kill her.
The suspect also allegedly grabbed the victim’s glasses off her face in the scuffle. According to police reports, the suspect behaved erratically due to jealousy and assumed the victim and the suspect’s girlfriend were romantically involved.
The victim proceeded to flee the apartment when the suspect pursued her down a flight of stairs and into the parking lot. The victim managed to escape and headed back to her apartment at the Village Apartments complex.
The suspect’s roommate corroborated the victim’s story.
The suspect was arrested for felonious assault. She apparently has a criminal history, including a prior charge for assault and battery.
