Walled Lake Western, the Kensington Lakes Activities Association (KLAA) North Division champion, was eliminated from the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) district tournament by host Novi, 8-0, in an MHSAA district semi-final on Thursday, June 2.
Western began the district tournament on a high note with a 4-1 victory over Beverly Hills Groves on Tuesday, May 31.
Troy eliminated Walled Lake Northern, 4-0, in the first round of the MHSAA district tournament on Tuesday, May 31.
Troy then slammed Walled Lake Central, 8-0, in a district semi-final, on Thursday, June 2.
Troy then defeated Waterford Mott, 5-0, in the district final on Saturday, June 4.
Central defeated Birmingham Seaholm, 3-0, in a district quarter-final game on Tuesday, May 31.
Waterford Kettering fell in overtime to Clarkston, 2-1, in an MHSAA district semi-final at Lake Orion on Thursday, June 2.
Clarkston would go on to lose to Rochester Adams, 5-0, in the MHSAA district title game on Saturday, June 4.
Huron Valley Milford’s season was ended by Hartland, 8-0, in an MHSAA district quarter-final on Tuesday, May 31.
Hartland would eventually fall to Okemos, 3-0, in the district final on Saturday, June 4.
