Deputies seek men in Subway armed robbery

Two male suspects are being sought after robbing a Commerce Township fast food restaurant and making off with $300 in cash.

Shortly before 10 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, two men entered through the back door of the Subway shop in the 8400 block of Richardson. The clerk was working alone and counting money as part of her duty at the end of the night.

One suspect allegedly approached the clerk and took approximately $300 in cash, while the second subject stood watch. According to the clerk, both men wore gloves and one used his T-shirt to conceal his face. Both fled the area in what is believed to be a brown vehicle.

While the subjects are wanted for armed robbery, the clerk was not harmed. The case remains under investigation.
