Garage fire sparked by downed power lines

Downed power lines caused a White Lake Township garage to catch fire around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 15.

The garage was attached to a house located in the 4000 block of White Lake Road in the township. White Lake Fire Department personnel were able to extinguish the flames before they spread to the house.

There were no injuries reported.
