Walled Lake police are investigating an alleged felonious assault against two teenage sisters that reportedly occurred in the 800 block of Hawk on Friday, April 29.
The girls are 13-years-old and 15-years-old. They, along with some friends, were at the park located between Hawk Drive and Eagle Pond when a man allegedly approached them on a bike.
According to the teens, they recognized the 40-year-old white male, a resident of Eagle Pond, who jumped off his bike while allegedly brandishing a 2-inch-long knife with a fixed blade and lunged at the girls without provocation.
The teens jumped back and the man fled the scene.
The male suspect is described as balding, 5-feet-11-inches tall and weighting 140 pounds. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black jacket, red shirt and riding a black bike, according to a Walled Lake Police Department report.
At the time, the officers could not find the suspect, but had his address.
The girls’ mother was notified of the incident.
