New tenant's apartment robbed; $400 stolen

A breaking and entering incident was reported from the Village Apartments in Wixom during the overnight hours of Monday, April 25.

A woman, who just moved into the 31000 block of Ash, returned the morning of Monday, April 25 to find her microwave and $400 in cash missing. The cash was stashed within the apartment. She told police her door lock seemed to be malfunctioning, but there was damage to the door itself.

The case has been turned over to detectives for investigation.
