Huron Valley Unified’s girls lacrosse team split two games last week to move to 2-2 on the season and 2-0 in the Kensington Lakes Activities Association (KLAA) Lakes Conference.
Huron Valley began the week with a 15-8 victory over Waterford Unified on Wednesday, April 13.
Nichole Laflamme was red hot, as she scored 6 goals. Stephanie Holmes wasn’t far behind with 5 goals. She also forced 4 turnovers. Both players are Huron Valley Lakeland students.
However, Huron Valley would then suffer a 12-6 loss to Northville on Thursday, April 14.
Taylor Law (Huron Valley Milford) finished with a hat trick in the loss, while Lakeland’s Jordan Bromley and Laflamme each had a goal for Huron Valley.
Huron Valley had a 5-1 lead but was shorthanded due to players missing because of extended spring breaks.
Huron Valley is scheduled to play at Brighton today, Wednesday, April 20, before traveling to Hartland tomorrow, Thursday, April 21.
