Waterford police have found two possible suspects in the Thursday, March 17 hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of a 29-year-old Commerce Township man.
Garrett Gresh was apparently walking on Cass Elizabeth Road near Iroquois Avenue around 10:30 p.m. when he was struck by what police now believe is a blue 2009 Saturn Aura they located on Friday, March 18 in a garage in the 5500 block of Ashby Court in Waterford Township.
A person of interest has been identified as the possible driver, and a second person of interest has been identified as being a possible accessory after the fact.
The accident remains under investigation. Police are working with other law enforcement agencies to identify who exactly was driving the vehicle on the night of the hit-and-run.
After the Saturn allegedly hit Gresh, a 55-year-old Waterford man was driving westbound on Cass Elizabeth Road in a 2003 Honda Civic when he saw something in the roadway. The man applied his brakes but couldn’t come to a complete stop before dragging the object a short distance.
When he realized he hit Gresh, he called 911.
Anyone with information regarding the accident or who witnessed it is asked to contact Officer Stanley Mathewson at 248-618-6086 or Sergeant Kevin Kazyak at 248-618-6073.

Why bother writing this article, It’s the same one you wrote weeks ago, saying the exact same thing. Why not wait and update us when you can release the names of these scum bags who thought NOTHING of leaving a man to die in the street, as you would an animal.. just saying!
