Tightening the belt

From Paul Kane, White Lake Township:

America’s first Civil War was instigated by southern Democrats who thought themselves justified in horrifically exploiting the black man and taking for their own greedy benefit whatever they wanted from the fruits of his labor. Today, Democrats, some public sector union folks, socialists and RINOs (Republicans in name only) are horrifically exploingting the private sector taxpayers by thinking themselves justified in taking whatever they want from the fruits of our labor (from our children, grandchildren, and now great-grandchildren). Are they trying to instigate a second Civil War?

Protesters in Lansing are now being reported in the national news.

In every household, a time might come when the adults realize that they can no longer just keep racking up expenses on the credit card. Any adult children in that household, regardless of whether they have childish temper tantrums, would be given two choices by a responsible parent — to either shut up and deal with it or move out and make in on their own.

If we now have adults in Lansing (and D.C.), then they will realize that they not only have to stop spending as much as they have been spending, but instead to tighten the belt even tighter and also start paying off the balance. I would prefer that they do this in a methodical manner while we still have a choice instead of waiting for the bank to come in and start confiscating what we have, especially considering who the bank is.

I hope that every human who is of an adult age will act like an adult.

I hope we haven’t elected too many RINOs.

And I pray that those Democrats don’t instigate another Civil War.
