Senior center job applications still being accepted

The search for a new adult activities event programmer for the Highland Adult Activity Center continues.

According to the contract between Highland Township and the Huron Valley Recreation and Community Education program, the recreation and community education program is responsible for supplying the center with an adult activities event programmer.

The one-year contract which the Highland Township Board of Trustees agreed to enter into at a Jan. 12 meeting stipulates that for $18,000 the recreation and community education program will provide an activities coordinator to work 20 to 30 hours each week, as well as provide two different software resources.

Jeffrey Muck, director of Recreation and Community Education for the Huron Valley School District, said they are still accepting applications for the position, which they hope to have filled by the end of March at the latest.

More information on the position can be found by clicking on the “Employment Opportunities” link on the Huron Valley Recreation and Community Education website at http://huronvalleyrec.com.
