Police looking for man who stole Rolex watch

West Bloomfield Township police are searching for a male suspect who allegedly stole a $40,000 Rolex watch from Tappers Jewlery Store at 6337 Orchard Lake Road at around 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26.

The suspect, who is described as a 35-year-old black male, standing 6-feet-tall and weighing 200 pounds, fled with the watch after trying on several others.

The watch in question is a Rolex Presidential watch, consisting of yellow gold and featuring a round black wave dial, Arabic numerals, fluted bezel and a polish/satin yellow gold bracelet.

The suspect was also wearing a short brimmed hat, a bulky vest, dark jeans, and brown boots, and also had hair on his chin and cheek, with up to 1 inch of growth. He is also described as “heavy” with “fat hands.”
