19 cartons of cigarettes stolen from gas station

Wixom police are investigating a breaking and entering incident that occurred at the Shell gas station located at 28055 S. Wixom Road on Monday, Feb. 7.

Police responded after a building alarm was tripped and found a cinder block that was apparently used to break the gas station’s front window.

Footprints and tire tracks led investigators up Meijer Drive. The prints and tracks were observed moving onto Grand River Avenue, where the trail stopped.

According to police reports, 19 cartons of various cigarettes valued at $1,140 were stolen during the incident.
