West Bloomfield up ended by Clarkston, 60-50

West Bloomfield fell to Clarkston, 60-50, on Thursday, Jan. 27, as is still trying to keep pace in the Oakland Activities Association (OAA) Red Division.

The Lakers (7-3 overall, 4-2 in the OAA Red) trailed 23-20 at halftime and couldn’t generate enough offense to overcome the Wolves.

Spencer Parker had 14 points to lead the Lakers, while Darren Byrd had 13 and Nick Leventis had 12.

Clarkston (7-5, 4-2) was led by Nick Tatu with 19 points.

The Lakers now trail first-place Southfield (5-1) and North Farmington (4-1) in the OAA Red.

West Bloomfield hosted Farmington Hills Harrison yesterday, Tuesday, Feb. 1, after press time and will welcome Southfield-Lathrup on Friday, Feb. 4.
